Think we can safely say it was the first genuinely 'hide behind the sofa' episode of Dr Who this weekend, since its return to our screens. And for early evening, family viewing, it was arguably pushing the boundaries of scary: the Gothic Horror and werewolf transformations proved too much for Josh, who had to retire about half way through (an interesting balancing act for the BBC here: how challenging do you make the series in terms of keeping viewers vs losing them? Josh is not sure he wants to watch next week now). Did like the suggestion that, since Queen Victoria, the Royal Family have all been werewolves though.
