The iPhone looks great, of that there is no doubt. But as someone who isn't a great lover of phones, I can't get THAT excited about it.
Which made me think about those times when everyone around you falls in love with something, but you're just left feeling 'whatever'. Do you go with the crowd or opt out.
Take the iPod (to maintain an Apple theme). It again looks great (it's Apple), but beyond that I just don't get it. When it comes to MP3 players, there are cheaper, more reliable, more flexible options out there, which is why I've never got one. Gives me a slightly wilful 'brand rejecter' buzz when people ask, I must admit, but explaining your choice can also get a bit tedious.
So anyone else out there ignored some 'obvious' must have choices on principle?
Or (if you're feeling really honest) bought something against your better judgement, cos everyone else was!
